New website solves age old mobile phone problem
Who Calls Back provides a survival guide for mobile users detailing which person should return the call when a phone call drops out in a range of everyday scenarios.
The tongue in cheek website also details a series of mobile phone etiquette rules, whilst also providing a humourous survival guide to a range of social media sites, detailing the type of people users will encounter via Facebook, Snapchat and Tinder.
Founders Heath Evans and Grant Neilson developed the concept after becoming increasingly frustrated with their inability to agree upon who should return the call when mobile phone reception dropped out, continually finding themselves both calling back at the same time.
“It’s a problem everybody can relate to and we wanted to find a solution” said Evans.
“We really want this to be a site that the community embraces, and for users to submit their own rules as well as voting on the official rules so that together we can create a survival guide for dealing with this problem.”
According to Who Calls Back, the Official Rule states that the person who initiated the call is the person who should call back, however there are a large range of exemptions such as The Boss Rule, The Family Rule and many more which can override the Official Rule based on the circumstance.
The site, which is compatible across desktop, tablet and mobile hopes to also be offered as an app in the coming months.
